We’re hiring a Project Manager to deliver multi-utility infrastructure projects, with a focus on electrical networks. You will join a supportive team and hit the ground running with immediate project work in and around Northampton and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead utility projects end-to-end (DNO, ICP, or related experience ideal)
- Manage sites, budgets, client relationships & subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with H&S, CDM, and industry regulations
- Deliver quality outcomes for high-profile clients
- Oversee multiple utility projects for national clients
- Ensure work is delivered to specification, on budget and safely
- Lead financial reporting and manage subcontractors
Ideal Background:
- Electrical engineering experience (bonus: gas/water/utilities knowledge)
- Experience with DNOs or working under National Grid, UKPN, SSE, GTC etc.
- Comfortable managing projects on-site
- Strong grasp of regulations, ideally with SMSTS / SSSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH
- Substation access and CPA-level qualifications a plus
