We are delighted to be working with a leading consultancy in the media and entertainment industry on their search for an Accounts Assistant. Offering hybrid working, excellent benefits, study support and progression, this role is an amazing opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career! Ideally suited to an accounting professional with experience in an accountancy practice.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of VAT returns and financial statements
- Investigate and resolution of queries from clients, colleagues and stakeholders
- Working closely with the client managers directly to understand the client’s requirements and identifying problem areas
- Contacting suppliers to verify bank details and processing payments
The ideal candidate:
- Degree-educated with strong A-Levels and GCSEs
- Interested in studying towards an AAT/ACCA qualification
- A dedicated individual who can take ownership and responsibility of their workload
- Confident using Word and Excel
- Strong people and communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent research and analytical skills
