A leading UK-based supplier of CNC machine tools and automation solutions is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join its growing team. This company supports a wide range of manufacturing sectors and is known for providing premium machinery and top-tier customer service.
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Applications Engineer to support customers across the Midlands area (UK). This is a field-based position where you’ll be responsible for ensuring successful machine tool integration, customer training, and technical support.
- Deliver training to customer personnel on CNC machine tool operation and programming, ensuring safety and competence.
- Lead engineering projects, ensuring delivery to agreed specifications, within budget and on time.
- Log daily tasks and site activities using the company’s Field Service App to maintain clear documentation and traceability.
- Continuously expand your knowledge of the product range and attend necessary training on new machines and control systems.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland, with overnight stays as required.
Experience with Siemens CNC programming and experience with 5-Axis machining centres and multi-tasking turning centres is highly advantageous.
Time-served engineer with 5+ years’ experience in CNC machine tool applications (turning and milling).
Strong communication and project management skills.
