We are delighted to be partnering with a fast growth music giant on their search for an experienced Accounts Assistant. This role is offering fully remote working, excellent benefits and the opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business.
Working closely with the senior leadership team this role will support day-to-day finance operations, gaining broad accounting experience within a collaborative, international business.
The Role
- Process supplier invoices, manage payment runs and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Raise customer invoices, allocate payments and support credit control.
- Complete bank, credit card and expense reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare schedules for management accounts and assist with VAT reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Contribute to improving financial processes and controls.
The successful candidate
- Minimum 4 years in a similar role
- Experience in a music/creative environment will advantageous
- Experience with NetSuite advantageous but not essential
- SME experience and knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping.
- Previous experience working within the music industry.
