We’re working with a fantastic business in Central London looking for a reliable and hands-on Facilities Assistant to join their team. This is a real hybrid role covering both admin as well as maintenance tasks at the heart of a unique building, supporting staff, tenants, and visitors to keep things running smoothly day to day.

Responsibilities:- Cover reception during lunch and evening hours (phones, guests, passes, etc.)
- Monitor deliveries and post, maintain stock in kitchens and meeting rooms
- Carry out light maintenance (e.g., changing bulbs, minor fixes, moving furniture)
- Conduct regular janitorial checks and liaise with evening cleaners
- Ensure the building is safe and secure, including locking up in the evenings
- Assist with larger building and maintenance projects alongside the Facilities Manager
- Previous experience in facilities, reception, or office support (training provided)
- A proactive, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work
- Clear communicator with a great personality who’s happy working both independently and in a small team
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Flexible to adapt working hours during cover periods (occasional 9-5 shifts)
