Client Accountant
London | £30,000–£34,000 | Hybrid
We’re looking for a Client Accountant with around 2–3 years’ finance experience to join a busy, growing finance team within a creative/communications environment.
You’ll manage a portfolio of clients and take ownership of the billing, WIP and job management across their accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Client billing and invoicing, ensuring everything is accurate and on time
- Monitoring WIP, job costs and budgets
- Reconciling production costs and ensuring costs are recovered
- Checking PO / financial cover is in place
- Managing outstanding balances and supporting aged debt
- Reconciling and closing completed jobs
- Working with account management, production and finance teams to resolve WIP and billing issues
- Maintaining accurate finance system records and supporting reporting
About you
- 2–3 years’ finance experience
- Experience in billing, sales ledger, AR, WIP or client accounting
- Strong Excel and finance systems skills
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Confident communicator who is comfortable chasing and resolving issues
- Proactive, commercially aware and keen to take ownership
- Media/advertising/creative experience useful but not essential
£30,000–£34,000 depending on experience.
