Hydrosave is seeking a visionary Divisional Director - Water to lead our high-performing division at a pivotal time of growth and transformation. With a strong foundation in leakage management, data-driven water network monitoring, and consultancy, this is a rare opportunity to drive innovation and impact across a nationally respected business.
As part of South Staffordshire Plc, Hydrosave offers the agility of a specialist contractor with the backing of a major utilities group, giving you the platform to lead with confidence, scale with purpose, and deliver with excellence.
About the Role
This is a strategic leadership position with full commercial and service delivery accountability for Hydrosave's water division, a £25m turnover business with eyes firmly set on expansion. You'll be responsible for:
- Driving growth across water operations and consultancy services
- Leading large-scale frameworks and specialist projects
- Championing emerging technologies to the water sector
- Embedding a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Building trusted relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
- Mentoring senior leaders and shaping future talent
- Providing insight-led strategic leadership and business planning
You’ll be at the forefront of delivering sustainable, customer-focused outcomes that help shape the UK's water infrastructure for generations to come.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for a proven leader with deep roots in the water industry and a passion for innovation. You’ll bring:
- Extensive experience in the water sector, particularly in leakage, network operation, optimisation, unaccounted for water and water efficiency
- Asset management knowledge an advantage
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- A track record of leading large frameworks and consultancy projects
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A credible understanding of regulatory pressures and opportunities
- A collaborative leadership style with a focus on delivery and growth
- Degree-level education in engineering, environmental science, or a related field (preferred)
