As Leakage Competency Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate field-based leakage operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client and business expectations.

Role

A core part of this role is working alongside our Training Department to deliver an 18-week TeCas-accredited training programme using a hybrid approach that combines modern technology with traditional field methodologies. You will provide hands-on coaching and supplementary training to Trainee Leakage Detection Technicians, supporting them in activities such as:

  • Open sounding
  • Correlation
  • Pipe tracing
  • Data logging

You will act as the key link between field teams and management, driving productivity, maintaining morale and ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality standards.

The Role
  • Lead, motivate and develop field teams to deliver high performance.
  • Support and coach Trainee Leakage Detection Technicians through the 18-week TeCas-accredited training programme.
  • Plan and oversee daily field operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to quality standards.
  • Monitor productivity and performance, driving continuous improvement.
  • Act as the key link between field teams, management and the client.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of KPIs, incidents and audits.
  • Promote and uphold a strong Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture, ensuring full compliance.
  • Support effective client engagement and contract delivery.
