This role is an exciting opportunity with different challenges happening daily. Fixed Network Loggers is a new and innovative form of leak detection. In this role, you will be a key member of the team responsible for highlighting issues that help us identify leakage faster on the network. This is a crucial role for leakage, reducing the lifecycle of a leak and time taken to identify leakage will help reduce the overall cost of leakage detection.
We are looking for a detail‑driven and proactive individual to support our operational and reporting activities for Thames Water. The role involves:
- Analysing data from Thames Water systems
- Producing clear and accurate reports based on field‑technician feedback
- Preparing both client and internal weekly reports when required
- Ensuring field technicians have the correct Points of Interest assigned
- Elevating any findings to the appropriate teams
- Contributing to continuous improvements in data quality, operational processes, and collaboration with Thames Water teams
A key part of the role includes:
- Analysing and reporting data obtained through field works carried out
- Analysis of Fixed Network logger to determine Leakage or Usage consumption through data from various technologies
- Identifying any changes to Nightline figures and accounting for those changes by identifying new alarms in the system as well as repaired jobs
- Accountable for the Ownership of all Campaigns within your ANM’s ensuring all tasks in hand are completed as agreed and detailed feedback is provided through the Field Teams
- Assisting with any new reporting requirements by accession data from the relevant systems
- Actively seeking out, rectifying and reporting any issues to the client
- Attending all client meetings daily/weekly and providing updates on all campaigns when questioned
- Contributing data-led continuous improvement suggestions
What You’ll Need:
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Experience with use of Microsoft Excel (advanced user skills) – manipulating data with use of formulas, generation and formatting of graphs and other data visualisations
- Power BI/ Power Query knowledge desirable
