A fantastic new opportunity for a Nights Field team leader to manage our leakage detection team. Located in our North London office (Thames), you will lead the operations and performance of leak detection, driving industry-leading results. This role requires strong management capabilities and exceptional leadership to achieve excellence. What’s the role:
- Ensure all on-site work is completed on time, within budget, safely, and to the customer’s satisfaction, going the extra mile to meet excellent standards while taking full responsibility for job profitability and effective client management.
- Maintain efficient and effective execution of campaigns by facilitating high-level survey feedback between field and office and conducting detailed entry and exit interviews with field resources.
- Manage the Operations management team’s expectations and support functions to achieve operational excellence, ensuring efficient deployment of resources, labor, and materials, and effective procurement.
- Plan and maintain an overall work schedule to optimize the deployment of labor, plant, and materials, and conduct regular review meetings with timely completion of necessary documentation.
- Develop a strong Health & Safety culture by training staff, reporting accidents timely, delivering safety measures, participating in audits, and supporting the H&S advisor.
- Collaborate with the CDM and Finance Manager to meet budget targets, mitigate risks, develop contract controls, identify efficiency opportunities, provide accurate payment data, and review monthly P&L.
- Ensure staff meet essential skills standards, increase engagement through communications, demonstrate employee value, create career development opportunities, and communicate a clear vision for contract success.
What you’ll need:
- Possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary for providing first-class service in Leakage Detection & Management, with a strong understanding of detection methods, technologies, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to control, assess, and deliver projects that meet clients' regulatory and framework targets while maintaining financial control.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills to establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring alignment with the company's performance management policies and striving for excellence.
