We are looking for an experienced Leakage Operations Lead (Nights) to join our Thames Water Leakage Framework, based in North London. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing night-time leakage operations and delivering industry-leading performance across safety, quality, customer service, and financial control. You will bring strong technical knowledge of leakage detection and water networks, combined with confident people leadership and a passion for continuous improvement. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead and manage night-time leakage operations, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest customer service standards. You will have full ownership of operational performance, profitability, and client relationships across the framework.
Responsibilities
- Lead night-time leakage operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Take full ownership of operational performance, profitability, and contractual delivery.
- Manage and develop Team Leaders and operational teams, driving productivity and engagement.
- Champion Health, Safety and Wellbeing, ensuring compliance, training, and visible safety leadership.
- Plan and coordinate resources, labour, plant, and materials to maximise efficiency.
- Maintain strong client relationships, including performance reviews and accurate reporting.
- Monitor performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of leakage detection and water networks.
- Proven team leadership and people management experience.
- Excellent client management and customer-focused approach.
- Strong Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerBI, and Teams.
