A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join the Smart Water Services division and support the installation of network sensors.
This is a field-based role and we are seeking individuals who can work outdoors, develop technical skills, and play a key part in maintaining reliable and sustainable water services. This role is ideal for someone who is seeking to start a career in the water industry and learn new skills.
Full training will be provided, along with company vehicle, fuel card, tools and PPE.
The Role:
- * Installation and maintenance of water sensors used to record acoustics, pressure and flow
- * Use of specialist equipment
- * Accurately complete timesheets, survey forms, and leakage reports
- * Take full responsibility for Health & Safety compliance
- * Work closely with Team Leaders and fellow technicians
- * Report accidents, incidents, and near misses within required timeframes
- * Adhere to company vehicle safety processes and complete daily vehicle checks
- * Demonstrate company values and professional behaviours at all times
What you’ll need:
- * Full, valid UK driving licence
- * To consent to and pass a CRB check
- * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- * Good planning and organisational ability
- * Decisive and confident decision-making skills
- * Strong awareness of Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- * Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
- * A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the team.
- * Basic proficiency in Microsoft package for data recording.
- * Initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Notes on the role
- * You will work from your home location each day and be prepared to carry out some driving to/from site in your own time.
- * Drug and alcohol testing will be performed throughout the contract
