As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team in the Midlands, helping clients manage risk, achieve compliance and maintain safe water systems.
We're looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Legionella Risk Assessor. This is an entry level position where full training will be provided, making it an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in water hygiene and risk management.
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out Legionella risk assessments across a varied client portfolio.
- Identifying risks and providing practical recommendations.
- Producing written reports and supporting clients in maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and guidance.
- Inspecting hot and cold water systems across a range of commercial, healthcare, educational and industrial sites.
- Working alongside experienced consultants and authorising engineers while completing your training.
- Travelling to client sites with some overnight stays where required.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
- Contributing to continuous improvement, compliance and quality standards.
Our ideal candidate is someone with the right attitude, analytical mindset and willingness to learn. You will ideally have:
- Experience of report writing.
- A degree (or equivalent qualification), preferably in a scientific, engineering or environmental discipline.
- A genuine interest in science and engineering.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Confidence communicating with clients and colleagues.
- Motivation to learn and develop professionally.
- A full UK driving licence.
- A high level of attention to detail and accountability.
- The ability to manage priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative approach and a commitment to doing things the right way.
