Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Application Engineer to join our technical team. Based in Peterborough , this role offers a mix of office-based engineering work and on-site involvement — including troubleshooting, commissioning, and training support for our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with hands-on work, and who’s passionate about solving complex, real-world problems. Key Responsibilities Provide application and technical support for pump systems in water, wastewater, and food & beverage sectors Prepare system designs, technical proposals, and equipment selections Support sales efforts with engineering insight and practical solutions Conduct site visits for commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer training Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and product innovations Requirements An engineering-related qualification (Mechanical, Process, or similar discipline) Experience with pumps, hydraulic systems, fluid handling equipment, or rotating machinery needed Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel across the UK as needed Full UK driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Career development and training opportunities Exposure to a wide range of industries and technical challenges A supportive team environment with a focus on long-term success Opportunities to work on-site and directly with end-users Location: This role is based at our office in Peterborough .
