We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join a high-impact project supporting a key UK client. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical SAP workloads with a focus on high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) across AWS environments.
What You Will Do:
- Configure and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) for SAP workloads
- Design and implement High Availability clusters using Pacemaker and Corosync
- Configure HA for SAP HANA databases and applications
- Implement multi-Availability Zone SAP architectures on AWS
- Configure automatic failover, virtual IPs, and integrate SAP HANA System Replication with Pacemaker clusters
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy HA components using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Conduct HA/DR testing, failover drills, and perform root cause analysis
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with RHEL 7/8/9 and clustering on AWS
- Expertise with Pacemaker / Corosync
- Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of SAP HA/DR best practices and SAP on AWS fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment
