  • We're looking for an experienced

Senior Data Engineer to join a major data transformation programme within a highly regulated organisation.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in designing and building a modern cloud-based data platform that will support critical business and regulatory initiatives.

You'll be working as part of a high-performing engineering team, helping to develop scalable data pipelines, optimise data models and deliver high-quality data solutions across a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and optimise data pipelines using modern cloud technologies.
  • Develop robust and scalable data models to support analytics and reporting.
  • Work closely with architects, analysts and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance and engineering best practices are followed.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of a strategic enterprise data platform.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Expert knowledge of
  • Snowflake
  • Strong experience with dbt
  • Excellent SQL skills and data modelling experience (including star schemas).
  • Experience working with time-series data.
  • Exposure to market data platforms or financial data feeds would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience working within Financial Services is preferred.
