Company Secretary - Leading Financial Institution in Slough

We are working with a leading financial institution who are looking to hire a Senior Governance Manager to provide high-level corporate governance and company secretarial support across its UK and offshore entities. This role offers strong exposure to boards and senior leadership, with responsibility for enhancing governance processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities:

• Advising on governance and compliance for legal entities. You will be encouraged to be innovative and issue spot/streamline operations.
• Supporting governance matters for offshore entities (Jersey, Guernsey, IoM).
• Improving governance processes and ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks.
• Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a key point of contact.

Skills required:

• 10+ years experience as a qualified Company Secretary or Lawyer or significant governance/CoSec experience in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of governance and regulatory requirements for complex organisations and experience with offshore jurisdictions.
• Highly organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
