Pensions Consultant – Defined Contribution (DC)

Fully remote – open to candidates UK wide

Salary up to £70,000 per annum depending on experience plus bonus and benefits

Our consultancy client is seeking an experienced Pensions Consultant to join their Defined Contribution (DC) Solutions team. You\’ll play a key role in delivering tailored consultancy services to a diverse client base, helping them remain compliant, competitive, and focused on strong member outcomes.

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Managing your own portfolio of DC clients, providing high-quality advice on scheme design, investment strategies, and regulatory requirements

• Supporting the delivery of trustee and governance services, including technical reviews, strategy discussions, and member communications

• Collaborating with internal teams (including investment consultants and administrators) to deliver holistic solutions

• Monitoring market trends and helping clients respond to changing legislation

• Preparing and presenting reports, technical papers, and scheme updates

• Participating in business development activity and supporting new client pitches

Experience needed:

• Proven experience advising on Defined Contribution pension schemes

• Strong understanding of TPR regulatory requirements, governance, and investment design

• Ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear, actionable recommendations

• Confident in client-facing and trustee-level engagement

• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

• Ideally experience from a consultancy

• Experience at Senior Associate or Consultant level
