Job Description
Our client, a Magic Circle firm, is looking for a tax lawyer to join their top-ranked London team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile and technically complex matters in the market, within a practice consistently recognised as a leader in both advisory and contentious tax by the legal directories.
The team advises on the full spectrum of corporate tax matters, including public and private M&A, IPOs, demergers, joint ventures and private capital transactions. They are also highly active in finance and restructuring, real estate transactions, and large-scale tax disputes, often with a cross-border element involving international offices. Their clients include major corporates, financial institutions, private equity houses and sovereign investors, many of whom turn to the firm for advice on their most strategically significant tax issues.
You’ll be joining a collaborative, intellectually rigorous team that offers exposure to top-tier work and a strong platform for career development.
To be considered, you will be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales with mid-level experience in corporate tax gained at a leading law firm. Strong academic credentials, excellent technical skills and a commercial approach are essential. Experience in both advisory and contentious matters is welcome but not required.
