Competition Associate (2-5 PQE)

We are partnering with a top US law firm to recruit a Competition Associate (2-5 PQE) for their London-based team. This firm has a distinguished antitrust practice, renowned for its involvement in European Commission and CMA investigations, as well as handling merger control aspects of large transactions.

Role Overview:

• The successful candidate will manage complex, multijurisdictional cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, and merger control matters before the European Commission and the CMA. This position offers the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, including technology, telecommunications, consumer goods, manufacturing, energy, healthcare, and defense.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate multijurisdictional cartel investigations and abuse of dominance cases.
• Manage merger control proceedings before the European Commission and the CMA.
• Provide strategic advice to clients across a range of sectors on competition law matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years PQE with a strong background in competition law.
• Experience from a top-tier competition practice.
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
