Life, Protection & Pensions Claims Administrator

Multiple roles available across contract and perm
Location - Bristol (6 days per month)

We are looking for experienced Claims Administrators / Claims Handlers to join a growing operational team supporting customers across a range of Life, Protection and Pension products.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing claims through the full end-to-end lifecycle, ensuring customers and beneficiaries receive an accurate, efficient and empathetic service.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Life, Protection and Pension claims from initial notification through to assessment, settlement and closure.
  • Reviewing policy information and claim documentation to establish eligibility.
  • Obtaining and reviewing supporting evidence required to progress claims.
  • Liaising sensitively and professionally with customers, beneficiaries, advisers, trustees and other third parties.
  • Calculating and processing claim benefits in line with policy terms and procedures.
  • Managing multiple claims and ensuring cases progress within agreed SLAs and quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate customer, policy and case records across administration and workflow systems.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous experience within Life & Pensions, Insurance, Protection, Investments or Financial Services.
  • Claims administration or claims-handling experience would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to manage multiple cases and priorities within a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing with customers sensitively, particularly during potentially difficult circumstances.
