The Workshop Foreman will be working within Hydro International's UK Wastewater Services (UKWWS) team. We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.
We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to join us at our Manningtree branch. In this job you will…
- Proactively plan and monitor all workshop activities to achieve operational objectives.
- Ensure profitability margins on both internal and external projects.
- Provide support and advice to Project Managers and field staff as required.
- Report on outputs, planned work and financial performance.
- Manage staff including mentoring, leadership and engagement.
About You
- Management experience within an engineering environment.
- Ability to write technical reports, conduct technical assessments, conduct root cause analysis and to be able to understand technical drawings and plans.
- Experienced in servicing and maintenance works, preferably in the water industry.
- Sound knowledge of Workshops Systems.
- Able to motivate people in order to achieve their best outputs.
- Proven record of ability to manage time, costs and quality to strict deadlines.
