About the Job
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Nottingham branch. This is a hands‑on, field‑based engineering role with plenty of variety, problem‑solving and opportunities to grow your career.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites
- Carry out site inspections, diagnose faults and produce survey reports for quotations
- Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic devices
- Work at heights, in confined spaces and in all weather conditions on wastewater sites
- Work away from home regularly, including overnight stays
- Occasionally work in Hydro workshops across the UK
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and trades within the business
Qualifications
- A current valid UK driving licence
- City & Guilds mechanical engineering qualification
- Completion of a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
