About the Job

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineer to join our Nottingham branch. This is a hands‑on, field‑based engineering role with plenty of variety, problem‑solving and opportunities to grow your career.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, set up and test water filtration systems on sewage treatment sites
  • Carry out site inspections, diagnose faults and produce survey reports for quotations
  • Access and interpret technical instructions using mobile electronic devices
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces and in all weather conditions on wastewater sites
  • Work away from home regularly, including overnight stays
  • Occasionally work in Hydro workshops across the UK
  • Collaborate closely with other engineers and trades within the business

Qualifications

  • A current valid UK driving licence
  • City & Guilds mechanical engineering qualification
  • Completion of a recognised mechanical apprenticeship
