We are looking for an experienced and ambitious National Distribution & Warehouse Manager to lead warehouse operations across multiple UK locations.

What You'll Be Doing
As National Distribution & Warehouse Manager, you will
- Lead warehouse operations across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational standards.
- Drive operational excellence through the development and implementation of warehouse strategies focused on safety, service, inventory, and cost performance.
- Monitor KPIs, analyse performance data, and identify opportunities for improvement across the network.
- Partner with site leadership teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and standardised ways of working.
- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy, stock availability, and operational efficiency.
- Optimise warehouse layouts, storage solutions, labour utilisation, and material flow processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse supervisors and management teams across multiple locations.
- Manage warehouse budgets and monitor expenditure against agreed targets.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and HR teams.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements, promoting a strong safety-first culture.
- Support network optimisation projects, systems implementations, and business improvement initiatives.
- Travel nationally, including occasional overnight stays, to support operations across Hydro locations.
We're looking for someone who
- Has experience within warehousing, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Has a proven track record in a leadership or people management role.
- Possesses strong knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Is highly analytical and able to use operational data to drive performance improvements.
- Demonstrates excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Has experience driving continuous improvement and implementing operational change.
- Is a confident leader who can influence and engage teams across multiple locations.
- Is commercially aware with a strong focus on delivering results while balancing service, cost, and operational performance.
- Holds a valid UK driving licence and is willing to travel nationally.
- Ideally holds a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
