Job Type: Full time, Permanent. Hybrid
Responsible for managing the data processing and reporting for the Malvern Office. This includes:
- Writing reports
- Processing hydrometric data
- Tracking workload sheets
- Advising data technicians on what data to process
- Reviewing quality assurance maintenance reports before issuing to clients
- Project management and proposal writing
The post-holder will also contribute to the effective and profitable operation of Hydro International Data, Insight & Analysis Ltd and Hydro International Ltd.

Competence & Qualifications:
- Degree in relevant subject (e.g. Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering)
- Experience of taking field measurements and processing hydrometric data
- Experience with use of the company Time-Series database
Key Duties:
- Manage the workload of the Malvern based data team, ensuring all data is processed correctly and in a timely fashion
- Keep the workload sheet up to date
- Regular liaison with PMs to ensure that data is delivered in line with current priorities
- Track data turnaround times and report to the Head of Operations, DIA on performance of the data team against defined targets on a monthly basis
- Project workload projection for the team over the next 3-6 months on a rolling basis
- Ensure all data from Field Technicians is on the server and that no data is missing
- Provide regular feedback to Field Technicians and PMs on data quality and reporting issues
- Write reports to DIA standards
- Quality assure maintenance reports and issue data to clients under the overall authority of the PM for the project
- Complete all Time view checks every Monday morning and ensure the sheet is up to date
- Data processing
- Attend AQUARIUS Implementation Group Meetings and actively participate in actions to ensure consistent use of AQUARIUS software across the company
- Continually check target levels and weather forecasts for low and high flow gaugings for projects managed from the Malvern Office
- Ensure pre-visit calls are made to clients or landowners where required and oversee the RAMS being issued on a weekly basis
- Other duties which the company may reasonably require the individual to undertake
- Ensure compliance with and implementation of company Health and Safety policies
- Ensure compliance with and implementation of company Quality and Environmental policies
- Line Manager to Data Technicians including responsibility for timesheets
- Project management and writing of proposals for projects/clients allocated to the Data Manager
