Hydro Cleansing Ltd (HCL) is a leading provider of environmental services across London and the South East. Our fleet of specialist tankers, vans and road sweepers support drainage maintenance, waste management and emergency response operations. We are looking for a skilled Welder / Fabricator to join our workshop team in Croydon. This is a hands-on role focused on fabricating and maintaining equipment used across our vehicle fleet and operational yard.
The Role
As a Welder / Fabricator, you will work within our yard workshop to build, repair and adapt steel components used on our specialist vehicles and equipment. The role involves welding, fabrication and supporting the maintenance of operational equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble steel pipework for low-pressure systems
- Modify and adapt equipment installed on specialist vehicles
- Manufacture and repair components used across our tanker fleet
- Carry out welding and fabrication work to a high standard
- Maintain workshop tools, equipment and work areas
- Support general workshop maintenance and yard operations
- Ensure work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Report equipment faults or maintenance issues where required
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in welding and fabrication (MIG / TIG / ARC desirable)
- Experience working with steel pipework or structural fabrication
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Previous workshop or vehicle fabrication experience is desirable

Monday to Friday. Overtime available.
Location
Croydon, CR0 4XB. Must be able to commute to Croydon, CR0 4XB, or plan to relocate before starting work. Work Location: On-site at our workshop and yard facility.
