Our renowned products are synonymous with safety, quality and reliability. At our facility in Eygelshoven, we assemble and distribute these products for the market area Europe, Middle East and Africa.

ROLE SUMMARY

For our growing operations we are looking for a business partner providing professional Human Resources (HR) services and consultation to leaders and employees to ensure regional HR activities are fully aligned with company and regional business strategy.

Located in Dagenham (UK) or Eygloeshoven (Netherlands), the HR Expert will report to local management and HR leadership in USA, The HR Expert will provide HR support to all EMEA employees located in Netherlands, UK and Germany and other locations in the future.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Conduct recruiting activities with support from staffing team;
  • Support leaders to implement new employee onboarding & probation review programs where appropriate.
  • Ensure on-boarding training is implemented with high quality as required. Perform HR training and communications with new employees;
  • Improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness working with leaders on labor planning needs
  • Support line managers to be self-serving in HR policy and people processes

Talent Management

  • Support to execute talent development programs in responsible area;
  • Ensure individual development plans are in place for selected employees, monitor talent development follow up activities are implemented as required;
  • Provide professional HR consultation services on employee development needs;
  • Work with leaders to ensure appropriate training programs are executed;
  • Facilitate talent promotion and internal transfer process.
  • Support leaders on performance management execution

Culture / Employee Engagement

  • Work with respective leaders to drive team to demonstrate company culture /value in daily works.
  • Play critical role on employee communications (HR policy, process etc.) and team building;
  • Design and implement meaningful initiatives encouraging employee engagement
  • Partner with managers by providing expert advice on employee relations issues ensuring that managers are coached to deal with complex staff issues in line with legal and company guideline. Actively involved in termination case management;
  • Own day-to-day management of employee relations cases

HR Compliance / Systems / Processes

  • Manage all HR administration including employee files, payroll submissions, time and attendance and support audit requirements for accuracy and compliance for EMEA
  • Ensure HR practices fully comply with company policies and local legal requirements and Works Council agreements
  • Collaborate with the Works Councils in the role of discussion and negotiation partner

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, Business or a related field
  • Knowledge of local labor law; knowledge of other EMEA Countries’ local laws/practices and experience in cooperation with workers councils will be a plus
  • Prior experience in HR business partner or specialist role, 7+ years preferred
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
