This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for their next Technical Sales move. Based at our Dawlish head office in sunny Devon, but will include occasional ‘hands-on’ visits to customers and trade shows. We are a family-owned manufacturer of hydraulic control valves and pumps for mobile applications with products sold to OEMs globally. We design, machine and build all our components on site.

We offer:

  • Competitive salary - £38-44k depending on experience

  • Early finish Friday (1pm) + 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Define customer requirements and diagnose technical issues.
  • Communicate with customers online and through phone calls.
  • Update the ERP system with orders and quotations.
  • Identify and obtain new customers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Good technical knowledge of hydraulic control valves and systems and the ability to read and understand hydraulic system diagrams.
  • Level 1 British Fluid Power Association Hydraulics and Practical Mobile Hydraulics experience would be advantageous.
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Confident in MS Office applications and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Fluent in English and excellent telephone manner is essential.
