We’re seeking technically strong, safety‑focused SBT Technicians, mobilising to various locations from Aberdeen, with a proven track record in hydraulic and SBT operations. You will bring:
- Strong background in Hydraulics and Small Bore Tubing (SBT)
- Experience in SBT inspection, installation and maintenance
- Ability to interpret hydraulic schematics, P&IDs and GA drawings
- Hands‑on overhaul and testing of pumps, motors, valves and cylinders
- Hydraulic troubleshooting, filtration, flushing and condition monitoring
- Hydraulic piping, pressure testing, hot oil flushing and torquing
- Hose crimping, pressure testing and joint integrity competency
- Knowledge of hydraulic fittings, threads, instrumentation and system components
- Proven offshore operational experience
Qualifications & Certifications - Essential
- ECITB TSBT01 & TSBT02
- OPITO/ECITB SBT Surveyor (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of QHSE procedures
Qualifications & Certifications - Desirable
- ECITB TSBT03 & TSBT04
- Rope Access Level 1
- BFPA CETOP Level 2 (or equivalent)
- NFPC hydraulic qualifications
- Accumulator maintenance training
- Hydraulic torquing training
- Oil filtration / condition monitoring training
- N2 awareness
- BFPA Stage 1 & 2 Hydraulics, Pumps & Troubleshooting
Your Day-to-Day
- Deliver SBT and hydraulic work scopes onshore and offshore
- Inspect SBT systems in line with Hydrasun procedures
- Record system condition, type and suitability
- Recommend improvements to system layout or installation
- Tag and register SBT systems accurately
- Assemble and test hydraulic power units and associated equipment
- Produce clear reports, method statements, risk assessments and site documentation
- Input all data into the HIMS database and prepare and submit Draft End of Survey reports
- Maintain accurate paperwork, timesheets and customer records
