We are focused on supporting the energy transition through our work in the oil and gas, renewable energy, general industrial and marine industries worldwide. We are recruiting for Integrity Management Surveyors to provide an accurate, timely, efficient and effective hose inspection service to our customers at their offshore and onshore facilities. Successful candidates will possess a ‘hands on’ Mechanical or Hydraulic background and an SVQ/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline. Experience of working in an offshore environment and experience with hose inspection would be advantageous but are not absolutely essential. This role would suit applicants with suitable SVQ/NVQ and revant experince who are looking to embark on their offshore career. Candidates MUST be available to commence employment on the 7th April 2025. Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies * Previous apprenticeship experience in a mechanical / hydraulic discipline * Prior Mechanical experience or working as a Plant Mechanic * Previous experience of working within an environment that requires strict adherence to processes and procedures * Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels * Ability to interact as an effective team member * Competent in the use of computer systems, in particular Word and Excel * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to demonstrate a flexible, “can do” approach to their work * Ability to plan and organise their workload to ensure deadlines are met * Demonstrable awareness of QHSE procedures * Able to demonstrate strong customer focus Essential Experience, Qualifications and Competencies * SNVQ/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a mechanical engineering discipline * ONC/HNC/HND Engineering discipline * Mechanical Engineering or Inspection Qualification. * Carrying out or participating in Non Destructive Evaluation activities * Experience of Hose Inspection * Experience of flexible hose assemblies, threads and fittings * Previous experience of working in an offshore environment Duties will include but not be limited to: Operationally * Visually inspect customer’s Flexible Hose Assemblies (FHA) and fittings, onsite, in line with the Company’s inspection procedures. * Inspect and record condition, type and fittings, in line with procedures. * Assess the suitability of the FHA for the application it is being used and to recommend changes as appropriate. * Apply identity tag and to register FHA as per procedure. * Complete all documentation on a timely and accurate basis. * Input survey results into the HIMS database. * Submit a report with details of unsatisfactory FHA to the customer’s representative and recommend possible solutions, where applicable. * Write and submit a Draft End of Survey report. * Ensure the accurate completion and submission of timesheets. * Recommend possible solutions to problems identified with the customer FHA, applications or operating procedures HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) * Ensure that work is completed in line with the Company’s Quality procedures and Customer specifications. * Ensure that work activities are executed in accordance with the Company’s HSE Management System and, when onsite or offshore, in accordance with the customer’s site rules For further information regarding this role, please contact our Recruitment Team on (phone number removed).
