About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to join our results driven IT team in Aberdeen. This is a hands-on role within a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT infrastructure across the organisation. You will manage a range of technologies including servers, networking, storage, telephony, and client hardware, while ensuring security compliance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, backups, storage, and telephony
- Ensure security compliance through patching, scanning, inventory management, and system hardening
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting across the organisation
- Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records
- Participate in IT projects, continuity planning, and out-of-hours support on a rotational basis
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality IT services.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in an IT-related subject or equivalent professional experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Clearly demonstrable experience in a similar IT infrastructure role.
