We are recruiting for an Instrumentation Pipefitter to join our Glasgow workshop team. This is an opportunity to become part of a hands-on, multi-disciplined team delivering critical instrumentation and small bore tubing solutions for our customers. You will play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and reliability across all workshop activities, while developing your technical capability within a supportive and experienced team.
Essential Experience, Competencies and Qualifications
- Proven experience in small bore tubing (SBT) installation and fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GA drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience working with process systems and/or hydraulic products in mechanical or workshop environments
- Ability to follow strict processes, procedures, and quality requirements
- Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
- Flexible, adaptable approach with a high level of attention to detail
Desirable Experience, Competencies and Qualifications
- ECITB SBT certifications (TSBT01, TSBT02, TSBT03)
- Experience with SBEx, Autoclave, CNC or Cold Pipe Bending
- Previous experience working on subsea equipment
- Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / ONC / HNC / HND or equivalent)
- Knowledge of instrumentation systems or Hydrasun product lines
Key Responsibilities
- Install, bend, route and modify small bore tubing systems in a workshop environment
- Work from engineering drawings, work instructions and supervisor guidance
- Install bracketry and associated instrumentation components
- Support commissioning and assembly activities across the workshop
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
