Hydrasun, a recognised market leader in integrated fluid transfer, power and control solutions, is recruiting a Business Systems Analyst / Developer to join our Aberdeen based team. This role is essential in ensuring the stability, improvement and development of our Business Systems and ERP platforms.
About the role
You will analyse, configure, develop and support core business applications and ERP systems. Responsibilities include resolving issues, delivering enhancements, supporting lifecycle upgrades and acting as an escalation point within the team. This role offers involvement in end‑to‑end system activities and the opportunity to influence business‑critical system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and configure Business Systems to identify and implement improvements.
- Support and maintain ERP systems, interfaces and reporting tools.
- Diagnose, resolve and document issues in line with internal controls.
- Perform configuration, testing and structured change control activities.
- Act as escalation point for Business Systems Engineers.
- Conduct system analysis and root‑cause investigations.
- Support lifecycle and scheduled processes, including month‑end.
About you
You will have experience in Business Systems / ERP analysis, configuration, development and support. You will be adept at carrying out analysis, scoping and execution of Business Systems tasks, bringing with you robust experience in Business Systems lifecycle management. A relevant IT degree and a valid UK driving licence are required.
Essential Experience
- Business Systems or ERP analysis, configuration, development or support.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively.
- Degree in an IT discipline.
- UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with manufacturing, distribution or sales systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in system upgrades or change projects.
