We’re seeking a skilled and safety focused Mobile Hose Technician with strong hose manufacturing and assembly experience to join our Mobile Services team on a permanent basis. As a Mobile Hose Technician, you’ll travel to client sites to deliver high quality hydraulic, industrial and composite hose solutions. This includes manufacturing hose assemblies on site, identifying correct hose types and fittings, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and to specification. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to complete an online driving licence check. This central role will be to provide a professional On-site Hose Replacement Service to Hydrasun customers. This role may require out-of-office hours to fulfil customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond efficiently to customer call outs across various locations.
  • Manufacture, assemble, inspect and test hydraulic, industrial and composite hoses to precise customer specifications — a core part of this role.
  • Assess job scopes, ensure safe working conditions, and complete tasks in line with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate job sheets, documentation, and daily vehicle checks.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure all tools and equipment in the mobile van are well maintained.
  • Participate in the on call rota and work additional hours when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in hose manufacturing and assembly — this is a key requirement.
  • Experience with hydraulic, mechanical or pneumatic systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive, problem solving mindset with flexibility in daily tasks.
  • Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safe working.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • BFPA Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous mobile service experience.
  • Hose inspection and pressure testing experience.
  • Plant fitting experience.
