Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect to design, build, and deliver enterprise-scale Azure environments. The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Landing Zones, including networking, central logging, and identity and access management (IAM) controls. You will work closely with engineering teams, security, and business stakeholders in an agile delivery environment to ensure scalable, secure, and well-governed cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and best practices
- Architect and implement Azure networking solutions including hub-and-spoke or virtual WAN architectures
- Implement centralized logging and monitoring using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Design and enforce IAM controls including Entra ID, RBAC, PIM, and governance policies
- Establish Azure governance using Management Groups and Azure Policy
- Provide architectural guidance, documentation, and mentoring
- Support Azure migration and modernization initiatives
Agile & Delivery Responsibilities
- Work within an agile delivery model including sprint ceremonies
- Use Azure DevOps and/or Jira for work tracking and documentation
- Collaborate closely with product owners and delivery teams
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Engage with business, security, and engineering teams to gather requirements
- Present architecture designs and recommendations to senior stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Azure Infrastructure Architect or similar role
- Strong Azure networking, logging, and IAM expertise
- Experience working in agile environments
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps and/or Jira
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Desirable Skills & Certifications
- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-305, AZ-104, AZ-500)
- Experience with enterprise-scale governance
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks
- Experience supporting large-scale Azure migrations
