Role and Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate Mobile Hose Engineers for customer breakdown callouts.
- Manage customer enquiries and provide timely service updates and ETAs.
- Monitor job progress and adjust schedules to meet changing priorities.
- Maintain accurate service records and system updates.
- Support sales administration, including processing orders, quotations and purchase orders.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support branch operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to company procedures and health & safety requirements.
What we’re looking for
Essential experience
- Previous experience in a customer service, service coordination, scheduling, administration, or office support role.
- Experience managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service experience, including handling customer enquiries and providing regular updates.
- Experience using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications to maintain accurate records and process information.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while managing your own workload.
- A proactive, flexible and positive approach to work.
Desirable experience
- Experience scheduling engineers, drivers, field service teams or mobile workers.
- Previous experience in a service control, helpdesk, logistics, engineering support or customer operations environment.
- Experience processing sales orders, quotations or purchase orders.
- Knowledge of stock control processes.
- Experience working within a technical, engineering or industrial business.
