Role and Responsibilities:
As a Technical Sales Advisor, you will deliver high‑quality technical and commercial support to new and existing customers. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing practical technical advice, and recommending suitable hydraulic, industrial, or engineering solutions. You will be responsible for sourcing products to specification, processing orders, and maintaining clear, professional communication throughout the sales process. A strong focus on customer service, organisation, and identifying opportunities to add value is essential in this fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handle customer enquiries efficiently via phone, email, website, and live chat.
- Process customer orders, quotations, and enquiries accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Provide technical advice and recommend products that meet customer specifications.
- Upsell and cross‑sell related products to maximise sales opportunities and meet KPIs.
- Manage key and existing accounts, encouraging repeat business while acquiring new customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system and proactively follow up quotations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Support e‑commerce and web chat functions to deliver a seamless customer experience.
