We are recruiting an experienced Mobile Hose Engineer in Crawley, West Sussex, United Kingdom to grow the business in this area.
Hydraquip's engineers are trained to current industry standards with additional training given where required to ensure all service jobs are completed to the highest standard.
The Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer Role
Your daily duties will mainly include attending sites, replacing hoses and hydraulic components for our clients, liaising with existing customers, reporting job processes through the company mobile app, and updating orders. The role also involves developing the business with existing and new customers. Basic hours of work are 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours a week). You will be part of an on-call rota (usually one week a month) which may require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by on-call retainer, overtime pay plus commission for being on a call-out.
Requirements as a Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer include:
- The ideal candidate must be a hard-working and reliable person, able to work unsupervised and be customer-focused.
- All Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer applicants must have previous experience working in the Hose Replacement Industry or as a Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter or experience in a mechanical role.
- The job role involves canvassing potential new customers, so candidates must be confident dealing with new and existing customers.
- All applicants must hold a manual UK Driving Licence, ideally for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 penalty points.
