Role and Responsibilities
- Carrying out maintenance and repair work on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Providing field-based engineering support to customers.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
- Delivering high levels of customer service.
- Working independently and managing your own workload.
- Representing Hydraquip professionally as the face of the company.
- Maintaining reliability, punctuality, and high standards of workmanship.
- Participating in on-call work and overtime when required.
Essential Experience
- What we’re looking for
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
Experience as a
- Mechanical Field Service Engineer, or
- Maintenance Engineer.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and customer focused.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to deliver consistently high standards of service.
Desirable Experience
- Relevant engineering apprenticeship.
- Higher engineering qualifications (e. g. NVQ, HNC, HND, City & Guilds, Engineering Degree).
- At least two years' driving experience.
- Previous experience working in a mobile field service environment.
- Experience within hydraulic engineering, fluid power, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, plant, or engineering sectors.
