The Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer Role
Your daily duties will mainly include attending to the sites, replacing hoses and hydraulic components for our clients, liaising with existing customers, reporting job processes through the company mobile app, and updating orders. The role involves also developing the business with existing and new customers. Basic hours of work are 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours a week). As the Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer you will be expected to be part of an on‑call rota (usually one week a month) which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by on‑call retainer, overtime pay and commission for being on a call‑out.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a hard‑working and reliable person, being able to work unsupervised and be customer‑focused. All Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer applicants must have previous experience working in the Hose Replacement Industry or as a Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter or in a mechanical role. All applicants must hold a manual UK Driving Licence, ideally for a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 3 penalty points.
