Who we are? Hydraquip is the largest independent Hose & Hydraulics Company in the UK. We are dedicated to providing the highest levels of service to our customers.

Your daily duties will mainly include attending to sites, replacing hoses and hydraulic components for our clients, liaising with existing customers, reporting job processes through the company mobile app, and updating orders. The role involves developing the business with existing and new customers. Basic hours of work are 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday (42.5 hours a week). As the Mobile Hydraulic Hose Engineer you will be expected to be part of an on‑call rota (usually one week a month) which will require work onsite at nights and weekends if needed. This will be rewarded by on‑call retainer, overtime pay plus commission for being on a call‑out.

Requirements

  • Hard‑working, reliable, able to work unsupervised and customer‑focused.
  • Previous experience in the Hose Replacement Industry or as a Forklift/Plant fitter, HGV fitter, Agricultural Fitter or other mechanical role.
  • Confidence dealing with new & existing customers (canvassing new customers).
  • Manual UK Driving Licence with a minimum of 3 years and at most 3 penalty points.
