Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to cover the Scotland area. As an Area Sales Manager, reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Scotland through managing existing accounts and developing new business.
- Grow sales year on year within your region
- Manage and develop local and national customer accounts
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline and report on performance
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver a high level of customer service
- Represent Hydraquip professionally with customers and at industry events
Essential Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in a field‑based sales or account management role
- Proven ability to grow accounts and win new business
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts
- Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisation skills and ability to work independently
Desirable Experience
- Experience in engineering, industrial, hydraulics, MHE, or technical sales
- Knowledge of the Scottish market
- Experience selling solutions or service‑based products
