This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment who takes pride in producing high-quality work. You will be responsible for operating CNC press brake machinery and other metal-forming equipment to produce sheet metal components for a wide range of customers, including many world-class blue-chip companies. Training and support provided to ensure ongoing development and progression within the business. Applicants must be 18 or over for health and safety reasons.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate press brake and associated metal-forming machinery.
  • Configure bend allowances for a variety of materials (stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
  • Load and unload components to and from machinery efficiently and safely.
  • Create and modify multi-fold programs to ensure parts meet drawing requirements.
  • Select appropriate punches, dies, and tooling based on material specifications and design radii.
  • Use dimensional and precision measurement tools to verify product accuracy.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and safety at all times.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
