We’re looking for a proactive Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in optimising our production processes and delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of process improvement, cost efficiency, and technical innovation, ensuring our operations remain cutting‑edge and competitive.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications.
- Be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on innovation, quality, and efficiency.
- Create project plans and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Conduct detailed reviews of customer requirements for NPI projects.
- Implement and optimise new manufacturing processes.
- Evaluate and improve current processes to meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and delays.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to achieve project goals.
What you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience of 5 years+ as a manufacturing or project engineer (or in a similar role).
- In‑depth knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, and tool design.
- Experience in working in welding, or with welding based projects.
- Familiarity with APQP/PPAP processes and manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD/CAM software (Autodesk Inventor or similar) and MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Resilience, integrity, and teamwork skills to drive positive change.
