Starting on dayshift for induction and training before transitioning to a 2-shift rotation. This person will be responsible for operating and monitoring a robotic welding machine, performing precise welds on various material thicknesses.
Key duties include:
- Spatter removal during cycle time
- Interpreting standard operating procedures and technical drawings
- Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Strictly following all safety procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience operating a robotic welding machine
- Proficiency with manual power tools
- Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
- The ability to interpret SOPs and technical drawings
- Basic manual welding skills (preferred but not essential)
Working hours:
- Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:30pm, Friday 6:00am-12:30pm
- Back Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-11pm, Friday 12:30pm-7pm
