This is a full-time, on-site role for an HGV Central Fleet National Distribution Driver based in Killamarsh. The role involves the transportation and distribution of our equipment across various locations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods. The candidate must be prepared to spend nights away and work overtime as required. May be required to provide holiday cover for HGV drivers at other depots as needed. Will be driving Class 2 18t/26t rigid HGV.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory during loading and unloading operations and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods across locations.
- Adhere to drivers hours and working time regulations (WTD).
- Provide holiday cover for HGV drivers at other depots as required.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in distribution and effective inventory control for loading, unloading, and transportation operations.
- Excellent communication and customer service to ensure clear interaction with the team and clients.
- Valid HGV license with a clean driving record.
- ALLMI card for lorry loader crane with hook attachment up to 20t/m.
