The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry machinery.
To build and maintain a good working knowledge of MAE and equipment maintenance techniques, company products and services, and working practices, to perform all the tasks required in the role efficiently and effectively. Sharing information with others to enable them to fulfil their role. Using knowledge, information and skills in planning and working to improve MAE reliability. Sharing ideas and suggestions for improvements. Identifying and eliminating root cause of unplanned downtime. Completing, to a high standard any planned works, any follow-up works required. Identify any known/common issues/faults on MAE, with possible solutions. Identifying and eliminating waste through planned activities. Contributing to the setting of systems, procedures and work standards ensuring that they fit and/or enhance with others used in the business. Design and implement small improvements to equipment.
Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
- ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant experience
- Conversant in Microsoft office products
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety issues
- Flexibility/Adaptability
- Strong Communication Skills
- Team player who demonstrates a high level of initiative
