Role purpose: To provide technical support and leadership to the Production and Logistics Departments by identifying the operations and improvements required to produce products and developing processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met on a timely basis and in accordance with business needs. Set goals and standards and guide and develop Manufacturing Engineers, Junior Engineers, and Technicians to achieve those goals.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Plant Quality Management System
  • Responsible for ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 Implementation, Sustainability and Effectiveness
  • Responsible for creating, keeping, updating and tracking of central and internal directives, regulations, instructions, documents
  • Lead QMM7 Team
  • Coordination of the internal/external process and system audits
  • Coordination of problem solving activities
  • Coordination of Plant FMEAs and Control Plans
  • Coordination of Plant 8Ds and other problem solving tools
  • Perform process/system audits
  • Follow-up of the findings and measures of the internal and external process audits
  • Coordination of central reporting to DC/QM and DC-CH/QMM
  • Distribution of the given Q-Targets at plant level Value Streams/departments and deployment of the distributed targets
  • Responsible for internal and external trainings regarding QMS
  • Project/process leading responsibility in line with Q-Plan such as 14Q Principle, Q-Mindset & Q-Qualification Improvement activities or other related QMS project (e.g. Archiving, etc)
  • Plan and implement of the improvement activities regarding QMS in line with the plant quality plan
  • Coordination of the Plant Q-Activities e.g Q-Day, Q-Competitions, Q-Campaigns, etc.
  • Support to standardization and lean activities

Qualifications & experience:

  • BSc or MSc Degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering or relevant engineering faculties
  • Have deep knowledge and experience in quality management system
  • Have leadership skills in team leading
  • Have knowledge of quality assurance tools and methods such as measurement techniques, capability analysis of measurement systems, problem solving tools e.g 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why analysis, etc.
  • Be structured, systematic and good at collaboration, have good communication skills both in internal and external business environment
  • Have ability to work as a part of an international team
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
