Work Pattern: We operate to a rotating shift pattern as follows: 06:45 - 14:45 (Monday to Thursday) and 06:45 - 13:45 (Friday), followed by 14:30 - 22:30 (Monday to Thursday) and 13:30 - 20:00 (Friday). Saturday morning shift overtime available occasionally.

About the role: As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product quality and meeting production targets. Full training will be provided; however, experience operating semi-automated production lines in food or pharmaceutical environments would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Check that all products are produced within the defined limits of quality, quantity and efficiency.
- Ensure that all line documentation and sampling systems are being completed correctly.
- Responsible for ensuring that good manufacturing practices are observed at all times.
- Timely completion of product changeovers and line component clean down operations.
- Ensure, to the best of your ability, that production lines operated start and finish at the correct times.
- Monitor and reduce wastage, rejects, stock discrepancies, and be responsible for the reconciliation yields.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimise production processes.
About you:
- Highly literate.
- Good level of conversational and written English.
- Highly numerate.
- Ability to operate machinery and use hand tools.
- Experience completing traceability paperwork.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (pharmaceutical/food manufacture etc. preferred).
- Experience of GMP/FMCG environment (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Organised and methodical.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
