Work Pattern: We operate to a rotating shift pattern as follows: 06:15-14:45 (Monday to Thursday) and 06:15-13:45 (Friday), followed by 14:15-22:45 (Monday to Thursday) and 13:15-20:45 (Friday). Saturday morning shift overtime available occasionally.

Our commitment to quality and sustainability drives our success, and we are looking for a dedicated and detail oriented Multi-Skilled, Electrically Biased, Shift Engineer to join our team.
About the role: As a Multi-Skilled, Electrically Biased, Shift Engineer, you will work as part of a small team of engineers. You must have C&G or equivalent electrical qualifications, with good general mechanical skills. You will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and fault-finding of production, packaging, and utility equipment, with supporting mechanical skills as required. The role involves responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with GMP, health and safety, and regulatory standards to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- To be responsible for ensuring that good manufacturing practices are observed at all times.
- Carry out planned maintenance against written schedules, maintaining appropriate records, on all production and warehouse equipment and machinery.
- To carry out machine repairs as directed, or as required by machine breakdown.
- Continually assess for improvements to quality, cost or efficiency of factory output.
- To carry out general site maintenance duties, as directed.
- To maintain a good general knowledge of environmental, health, safety and hygiene systems within a manufacturing/processing environment.
- To assist in duties of unlocking and locking premises.
About you:
- Highly literate. Good level of conversational and written English.
- Highly numerate.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (pharmaceutical/food manufacture etc. preferred).
- Electrical knowledge and experience (fault finding).
- Installation, both 3 phase and single phase.
- Experience of GMP/FMCG environment (preferred).
- Experience of other similar industries with conveyors, sensors, automation etc. are also of interest to us.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Organised and methodical.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
